Our Promise to you

As a customer of The Herb Cupboard, we promise to provide our best possible quality in everything we do, from the smallest of our products to your experience with us as a business.

We value honesty and respect, so we endeavour to make sure that you will receive both during any part of the buying process and in all communications with us.

Our delivery policies:

To our UK audience:

All UK (Excluding Northern Ireland) based purchases will be processed withing 2-3 business days from the date of payment. Parcels and packages from our shop will be sent to you via Royal Mail unless otherwise stated or arranged.

Customers are able to choose their preferred delivery at checkout. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please also bear in mind any public/bank holidays, or in the event of industrial actions/strikes. Also please bear in mind where items are being shipped to as this may mean that delivery time takes a little longer. Please be aware that we have no control over such things, so please be patient if this occurs.

To our international (Including ROI and Northern Ireland) audience:

At the moment we are an extremely small business. Therefore, we currently only operate within the UK. We understand that this is frustrating, please bear with us while we are in the process of meeting the requirements to be able to provide our products to destinations around the world.

Our Returns/Exchanges Policy

We understand that sometimes things don’t always go as planned. To maintain the hygiene and integrity of our products, we will only accept returns and/or exchanges if the item is faulty or damaged.

We ask that we are contacted within 14 days of delivery, to discuss your concerns and queries. We also ask that an item be returned in its original condition and packaging. It is the responsibility of the buyer for return shipping costs

If an item is to be exchanged we ask for a photographic account of the item and reason as to why an exchange is requested. We will send out a replacement of the same product, or if unavailable an item of equal value will be offered at no added cost to the customer. If the customer wishes to exchange an item for another of higher value, the customer is responsible for the cost of the difference.

Accepted Payment Options

Our shop accepts payments from all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal. Our checkout is secure with Squarespace. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are sold at variable values of £15, £20, £30, £50, £75 or £100 only at the time of purchase. Customers can exchange gift certificates for products from The Herb Cupboard that equal to or lower than the amount on the gift certificate. In the event that a gift certificate has not been exchanged at the total value, then a subsequent gift certificate for the new value will be provided. Gift certificates will not be exchanged for cash or credit in any form.

When a gift certificate is brought to The Herb Cupboard, the perforated edge will be removed to determine that said gift certificate is spent and no longer valid. A certificate code will be written on the certificate and recorded by The Herb Cupboard at the time of purchase, in order to prevent repeated use of an invalid gift certificate. The recorded code will also be used to verify that the correct value is present on the certificate in order to prevent fraud.

Photocopies or photos of gift certificates will not be accepted in any form by The Herb Cupboard. Gift certificates that have been tampered with in any way will not be accepted by The Herb Cupboard and will be considered fraudulent.

Loyalty Cards

Loyalty cards are an optional rewards program for loyal and repeat in-person customers. Loyalty cards must be showed at the time of a purchase in order to receive a stamp. On the receipt of the tenth (10th) stamp on the card, the customer will be gifted a 20% (twenty percent) discount on the purchase at that time only. Completed cards will be considered invalid and retained by The Herb Cupboard to ensure responsible disposal. Loyalty cards are not to be shared between multiple customers. Stamps will not be transferred between customers for any reason. Loyalty cards do not represent any monetary value. Loyalty cards will not be exchanged for monetary value or credit in any form.
